The Law offices of William Douglas Bineham and Gillen & Associates have solidified merger terms and will now be called Bineham & Gillen. The firm principals, William, “Doug” Bineham and James F. Gillen, Jr. announced last week that they will bring their firms together at 8632 North Fredericksburg Road near the intersection of Wurzbach and Fredericksburg. Bineham & Gillen handles a wide variety of family law cases including divorce, custody, child support collection, enforcement and modification of child support and visitation. In addition, Bineham & Gillen also handles criminal cases ranging from the most serious felonies to traffic tickets.

William “Doug” Bineham
In addition to his private practice, William “Doug” Bineham is the current prosecutor for the City of Natalia, Texas. He is active in the Community Justice Program where he frequently serves as a mentor. He serves on the Boards of The San Antonio Bar Association’s Family Law Section and is the President-Elect of The Mexican American Bar Association (San Antonio). Doug graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1990 and currently sits on the Board of the St. Mary’s Law Alumni Association and is the Past-President of the Hispanic Law Alumni Association. He is a member of the Texas State Bar College. He graduated with a B.A. from Texas A&I University in 1986.
James F. Gillen, Jr.
James is a former decorated Marine and Registered Nurse who, while working full-time, earned his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law. After working in the law, Mr. Gillen eventually started his own practice in 2005. He specializes in all matters of family law and is unique in San Antonio for nurse defense against matters brought by the Texas Board of Nursing. He is a Board Member of both The Hispanic Law Alumni Association and The Center for Family Relations. James is also a member of The San Antonio Bar Association, The San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, and The Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Gillen graduated from UTSA in 1995 and earned his R.N. from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1997.
